 skenazi will stage an exhibition of Mountain landscapes by Li Huayi at 10 Clifford Street, London, from Thursday 1 to Friday 30 November 2007. Li Huayi’s work is highly praised in the United States and can be found in such museums as the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco; the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston; the Cleveland Museum of Art; The Art Institute of Chicago; and the Spencer Museum of Art, University of Kansas. He has exhibited to critical acclaim in California and New York as well as in Hong Kong and his native Shanghai but this exhibition at Eskenazi will be the first to be held in Europe. It will be an important feature of the 10th anniversary celebrations of Asian Art in London (1 to 10 November), the highly successful enterprise which draws collectors and scholars from around the world to the many exhibitions and other events held by dealers, auction houses, museums and important institutions in London.
