 he Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai is a non-profit, independently-operated contemporary art institution in Shanghai. Endorsed by the Shanghai Municipal Government and funded by the Samuel Kung Foundation, it was established in 2005. The Museum covers a total floor area of 4,000 square meters. Exhibition galleries are located on the ground and first floors with a total floor area of 1,800 square meters. The museum also has a restaurant and outdoor café located on the top floor.
